Subject:                                         9-22-26 THOUGHTS

 

Read Romans 8:31-39.  Rom 8:31 "What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?"  We are "more than conquerors..."  Present tense and forever!  Rest assured, Christ rendered the devil powerless... "the prince of this world has been driven out!"!   We've been made ALIVE!

Col 2:13-15    When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions,  14  having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15  When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him  (by the cross  NIV).  
John 12:31  Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.
John 16:11  and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
Heb 2:14  Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

Our Prayer:
Thank You Father God, for the victory that is in Christ Jesus.  Help us to live as victorious people.  We see Your awesome power and might in Your Son's defeat of rulers and authorities and Satan.  We thank You, O God,  that things are according to Your design and will.   We praise You, the only true and living God.   In Jesus' name,   Amen
